An article appearing in Namibia's national newspaper New Era highlighted how field officers in rural Namibia are helping people learn their HIV status.

A Havana resident, Monalisa Koreses, was quoted in the article, saying: “It’s good that we have people walking from house to house to test people for HIV, as many people do not know their status. Some people are sick and they don’t even know it. So, if they are tested and they are positive maybe they will stop having multiple sexual partners.”
